Events Diary

The days with life long memories do not need to cost a lot.............

Why not head down to one of our nearest beaches at Bantham. Choose when

the tide is out and explore the rock pools with a net and bucket. We always

used to take one of the light disposable foil BBQs, a healthy supply of local

butchers sausages and a bottle of wine. The children will love it, and Mum and

Dad too!

An organic bacon bap and fresh coffee at Blackpool Sands, any day any weather

(we were there on New Year's Day). You can shelter in the award winning Beach

cafe, then stroll on the beach. Local tip.... no need to pay for the car park, just tell

the parking man you are coming in for a coffee only. If the car park attendant is Dick,

he knows Stephen and Teresa well, just mention you are staying at Flear.

Why not spend some time in Dartmouth. Buy the children and Dad a crabbing line

and dangle it over the harbour wall. Then into town for a pastie, or fish and chips....

we take our grandchildren now and they love it as much as their Mums (now 33 and 30)

did when they were that age!
